GRAMBLING PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH FINALISTS SELECTED
The Grambling State University Presidential Search Committee voted unanimously to name three finalists to present to the full Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System.
The finalists are:
- Dr. Gregory Ford, Tenured Associate Professor of Biology, Southern University at New Orleans
- Dr. Martin Lemelle, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Maryland Institute College of Art
- Dr. Monica Williams, Foundation President/CEO & Vice President of Advancement, University of North Texas at Dallas
The Board will hold a special meeting Thursday, Feb. 22 to interview finalists and select the institution’s next president.
“I’d like to thank the Grambling community including students, faculty and staff, and alumni for showing up and participating in this rigorous search process,” System President and Search Committee Chair Rick Gallot said. “Guided by your substantial input, the Search Committee fulfilled its charge by selecting the three finalists who embody the unique qualifications needed to lead Grambling State University.”
