Jennifer Rowell currently serves as the Benefits and Training/Development Manager at Southeastern Louisiana University with over 15 years of experience in higher education and Human Resources. She oversees the university's Benefits team and manages employee benefit programs, including compliance with policies such as FMLA and Workers' Compensation. In addition, she is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for employees and students, ensuring content is engaging, accessible, and aligned with institutional goals.
Jennifer also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Communication and Media Studies, where she designs and teaches courses such as Public Speaking and Public Relations.
She holds a Master's degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor's degree in General Business, both from Southeastern Louisiana University. Her core strengths include course development, virtual and in-person training, and multimedia content creation across platforms such as iMovie, Canvas, and Workday.
