Julie Stokes is the founder and CEO of Ellevate Louisiana, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing bipartisan policy solutions. She also serves as Advocacy Director for the Louisiana Oncology Society and CEO of Flame Consulting. From 2013 to 2020, she represented District 79 in the Louisiana House of Representatives. A Certified Public Accountant, Stokes earned her accounting degree, magna cum laude, from the University of New Orleans. She has served in leadership roles with numerous civic and professional organizations, including the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System, the Committee of 100 for Economic Development, and the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry.
