Board Member
Lee Jackson is the founder, Chairman, President, and CEO of Jackson Offshore Operators, LLC, a marine transportation company serving major oil and gas producers in the Gulf of Mexico. He is also a State River Pilot with the New Orleans-Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots Association, one of only a few African American River Pilots in the nation. Appointed by the Governor of Louisiana, he serves on the oversight board for river pilot regulatory compliance along the Mississippi River. Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from New York Maritime College and completed executive management training at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a member of the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System.
